Used to play Live, but want to focus on Creating Music in the studio

I like pop / r&b / Dance/ Soundtrack music / Ambient music... any type which catches my ear....
What equipment do you use?
That would be telling... But i have a state of the art Studio with 5.1/7.1 Surround sound with Dolby Digital and DTS foramts.....
