Wake Down is the youngest new-rock band kicking the crap out of the New Orleans area. Just formed, the band has created their own sound with an all original live set. Each member uses their own experiences and influences to create each song.
Band/artist history
Wake Down started in october, 2003. Entertaining crowds all over the New Orleans area, the band has developed a following and performance that outstands most bands in the area. Recently, the group performed at the Annual Lundi Gras Madness concert outselling 12 of the area's top local acts with thier ticket sales and the band's outstanding performance that lifted a crowd of over 400 people off their feet, and into the pit. Leaving the masses in a frenzy throught the full set, the band ended with them screaming for more. Wake Down has combined "new rock" styles like, Rage, System, Linkin park, Korn, ect. to form the origionality and uniqueness of the music. All the songs are written, arranged, and produced by all four members of the band. You heard it, no covers, and they write on a regular basis. With constant practice, and dedication, Wake Down continues to write, and perform, with the same style that the fans of the band and today's music lovers enjoy!
