VS
This page mostly contains beats that I've made since Christmas 2005. The earlier tracks were recorded around summer 2005, back in Selly Oak, as part of a vibrant hip hop scene that existed in the area at the time, with most of us going under the group name of Vocal Swords (hence VS). Track 1, "U Get Me", is by VS affiliate (and my former neighbour - Dawlish stand up....) Nasty and appears on his album, available from Dope Productions (www.dopeproductionz.co.uk) Sadly, most of us have gone our seperate ways, but myself and Solocypher (www.myspace.com?solocypherthe vocalsword) are now repping Balsall Heath.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not much on the horizon at the mo but we're looking to get a couple of things going in the Moseley area as well as resurrecting the mighty Fat Gold Chain.

Classic hip hop like the Wu, Gang Starr and Big L, UK rappers like Scorsayzee, Comedians like Bill Hicks and Dave Chapelle, Grafitti, my mates and how can I forget Solo Cypher, Chima Anya, Nasty, Eliza, Dr K, Rast, Ade, Toshi, DJ Nifty, Benny Longshanks, Super Villain and all the VS heads!
What equipment do you use?
My laptop, a mic, Fruity Loops, Cool Edit and loads of free shit I downloaded and sampled from the net.
