Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The history really starts when the name was changed from Snakes of christ to VOYAGER. During 1997 and 1998 a number of demos where recorded and VOYAGER started to find their own sound. 1999 was the year when the band released their first official CD; "Four Bastards Trying To Sort Things Out" -CD/EP. The EP received great reviews from all over the world. The track "Northumbria" was used on a compilation disc from Molten Universe and people started to notice the raw, original sound of VOYAGER.
The Band signed a deal with Powerhead records in late 1999, and the work on the CD "Tunes For The Unwanted" started immediately. When it finally came out in the early 2001 Powerhead records was having BIG problems with getting a distributor. The deal with Powerhead expired and that leaves us pretty much where we are... A great record that no one can listen to...:)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We try to play live as much as possible. Its always hard to get good gigs though...
