Dropped by and listened to the 2 of the 3 new tracks on the page ("Bleeding Black Overflow" and "Eternal Devotion to the Creed").. Good sh***. The drums sound good, I take it that this is what you mean by a more "live" sound?

Correct. It was very poorly programmed on the first CD...the later stuff has a different type of programming and sound...later still material has a bit more of a "live" sound.

Whoa. f***ing hell, this is good stuff. I like "Eternal Fallacy" very much indeed. The riffs are good and the vocals are f***ing great. All in all a very good track. The other tracks are very good as well, but I prefer "Eternal Fallacy" over all 3.
That is a drum-machine, right?

Well, you are rigth about me not beeing Gaahl from Gorgoroth...but he plays with me in both Gaahlskagg and Sigfader. According Gaahlskagg it should be pretty easy to find a copy with "Erotic Funeral" on the internet, and we shall soon release a second album entitled "Av Norrønt Blod" on No Colours Rec. as well... According to Sigfader nothing has been official released yet, only a promo recorded in -99 called "Hevner". Now Kvitrafn who left Gorgoroth have joined us, and rehearsals for the debut album entitled "Voluspå" is going on... Deathcult is an Anti Human - Anti Life project of mine, and will be very difficult to obtain anything from. By the way Gaahl is not in prison...yet!!!

Thank you Wargerman. Where can I find these projects you mention. For a moment I thought you might be Gaahl from Gorgoroth (his project is called Gaahlskag as well) but then he's in prison, so....

Every now and then someone like you shows up on these boards and releases some good music... f***ing beautiful. I feel like a lot of my comments on these boards are beginning to sound the same lately. Why? Well... I believe it's because now I only post for the few bands that still carry the torch of true black metal. Like you. Good job. VolkeinBlucht kicks ass... plain and simple. "The Crimson Hunt" is pure darkthrone-esque black metal while Eternal Fallacy adds just a hint more ambience before being drowned in the mayhem-style filth that follows the clean intro. And finally, Lycanthropic Supremacy brings in an old-school beherit/bathory feel mixed with some slower darkthrone and mayhem. All in all, great black metal. These three songs will go on my next soundclick cd-r compilation.

Yeah, a little closer. The stuff three releases later features a lot more time changes and a much livlier drum sound...a bit more up front, too...have to realize I pulled a Varg and recorded about 3-4 albums worth of material in less than a year, then pretty much called it quits for a while...just waiting for labels (and listeners for that matter) to catch up with what I am doing.
