Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started playing guitar a little over 6 years ago by teaching myself Metallica tabs. After awhile I started getting into Megadeth, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and progressive metal. I started writing after I had a few years of guitar under my belt, my first song being "Angels and Demons". I later got really into progressive metal and technical music, and try to incorporate that in to my music to the best of my technical abilities.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played once live. It was the 150 year celebration for my hometown, and I played at church with my pastor. I played "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov and "Midnight" by Joe Satriani. Although it was my only live solo performance ever, it was in front of about 500-700 people, and I got a standing ovation from all of them. WOW! It was an amazing night.
Obviously, neither one of those songs are originals. It would be very hard for me to perform any of my songs live, as there is usually a large amount of layering in them.
