What happens when an electric violinist mixes an accoustic sound in classical stylings with classic rock distortion riffs?
Can't Stop Now Can't Stop Now
Yeah - all the parts are played on the e-viol, even that totally unique bass!
Into the Blue Into the Blue
Havin' way too much fun rocking out on the e-violin playing bass, lead and rhythm.

What happens when a classically trained violinist gets his hands on an electronic violin? You might be surprised . . .
I'm putting samples of my work in places like SoundClick to network with other musicians. That might lead to collaborations and who knows how much more?Have you performed in front of an audience?Only played a few public gigs so far. Quite different from playing in a chamber orchestra!
Do I like it? Absolutely - nice to just have fun and cut loose.
Your musical influences
I grew playing classical, so that was huge. First stumbled on electric violins through Nigel Kennedy (the album "Kafka"). I also really enjoy the flamenco / eastern style of Jesse Cooke, and the work of his violinist: Chris Church. What equipment do you use?
Currently I am playing an original hand made electric violin.Anything else?
Like many cross-over (from classical) musicians, I am very attracted to improvising. So that is something I am really exploring . . .Contact

Well
Pretty good string handeling!

Nice work! It's always great to see a fello e-fiddler in here. You've got a very unique and solid approach, something I am really aspiring to achieve. Keep up the wonderful work.
Hello Dan,
Thanks for the visit and the kind words. I streamed the top track on your page. Cool job. It ended sort of abruptly, as if you ran out of tape. (Did you ever have that happen in the bad old days?) Anyway, it's an interesting and different composition, sort of like modern baroque.
BLessings,

Hey Dan, I just listened to your 2 new songs "Freedom out Loud" and "Can't Stop Now"; smokin' tunes man...loved em' both! You really did an amazing job on the composition
and playing of these songs. I added them to my stations and gave you "Hot" votes on both. I posted a couple more songs, one is newer and the other one is actually from 1989( Yeah, I'm feelin' old). Take care, later man!
