Vincent Raisa
I started messing around with sound equipment Freshman year of college. I'd written a few songs before but never recorded anything. I'm at film school now plus I have lots of other things I do so I really don't have much time for this anymore but whenever I feel the urge I write a song.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
At one time I did. But not anymore. My music is more produced than anything else so it's hard to play live and I'm incredibly busy.
Your musical influences
Most of my music is pretty unique. If it had to be classified I would say folk pop, but that's stretching it. I draw perhaps most of what I do from the Beatles and the Beach Boys.
What equipment do you use?
Just a keyboard and a computer with Adobe Audition
Anything else?
I will be posting a lot of songs here most that are unfinished because as I've stated several times I just don't have the time to finish them. I also find it interesting to see songs that are works in progress as all mine are so you can see what goes into making a song. I might even post several different versions of the same song. So stay tuned...if anyone even reads this or listens to my music.
