Yeah, uh, I'm Vince. I rap, I make beats, I beatbox, I play a number of instruments, and I write all kinds of stuff... And then there's a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting at the moment. I'm just basically all over the place.Band/artist history
I've been playing the drums and experimenting with sound since I was about five years old. I started playing around with creating music on my computer back in...1999, I think it was, shortly after my father died. Me and a friend of mine (Emil Johansson - now a member of The Giant's Dream) started making these odd-sounding music tracks in Jeskola Buzz. Eventually, I think it was in '01, we started making some kind of hip hop beats (as we were both long time fans of old school rap and stuff), and if my memory serves me correctly, we started two rap crews. My crew made one or two songs and split up, and Emil's crew barely made anything, as far as I know. So me and Emil decided to start rapping instead, over both his and my beats (and some beats we made together). Eventually, Emil got tired of rapping, and I was left on my own. I started rapping on my own, over my own beats. Occasionally, I would try to make something over Emil's beats, but that never really happened (no idea why). I eventually started getting better at both making beats and rapping, and Emil eventually started making absolutely beautiful sound landscapes along with Joakim Westlund from the band Aerial, so we kind of went our separate ways musically (though we're still good friends). Today, The Giant's Dream are signed on Nomethod records (and they're really amazing, so check them out!). And I'm still doing my own thing.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live. Not as often as I would like to, but yeah. I play wherever I can, whenever I can, and I absolutely LOVE it. I live for it. (Unfortunately, though, I can't live off it, so I guess I'm gonna have to start whoring out beats or something.)

Brilliant work! Amazing wordplay and music. I'd love to hear a sorted version of the Reverend's ELE application... maybe even a podcast version of the Ask the Reverend. Genius stuff, that is.
