Band/artist history
From the grassroots of the late hard rock band Terrakore, which drew many fans but had to end with the lead guitarist going to the air force, arose a new band. VILE ORDER was created and reshaped by a new line-up that was put into place in mid 2003. From the depressing sound of Motograter to the hardcore aggression of Hatebreed, VILE ORDER has created a sound that is like none other. Each member, coming from a different musical background, has added a layer that creates what is known as the VILE ORDER sound. By adding guitarist Joe Hendrickson, there has been a new groove added to the VILE ORDER scene. With their insane live performances and head banging licks, these musicians kick up a lot of dust wherever they take the stage. VILE ORDER remains committed to maintaining the brutal live performances they have become known for. Still considered an indie band, VILE ORDER has just started to spread its wings. Having played many shows recently, they have been experiencing a great onstage presence with the likes of Torn, NDX, Tension Level 5, Figure H8, Organic, Dz's Nutz, Inner Chains, Dream Haven, Slavedrum, Session Six, Blackout, Chasing You, and many others.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live, and we love it. Playing a show is the pay off of having a band. If you are a true musician you will agree. The fans are what make you or break you. We have some good shows coming up with Blackout and other great Chicagoland acts.
Your musical influences
Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Poison the Well, Slipknot, Cold, System Of A Down, Fear Factory, American Head Charge, Rage Against The Machine, Lamb Of God, Deftones, "old" Korn, Godsmack, Hatebreed, and Metallica.
