Vernian Process is a Neo-Classical/Darkwave/Industrial project. The sound is very Film Score / Dark Ambient.. but with some more dance friendly songs thrown in the mix. Everything is drenched in strings, and symphonic/orchestral effects. Some of the songs will incorporate a very "Industrial Revolution" sound as well.. with samples of steam engines, gigantic gears, pistons, etc.Band/artist history
Formed in Winter of 2003.Have you performed in front of an audience? Not yet, but if it ever happened, there would be a very big stageshow to go with it.

Organic, transcendent and always a flow. I could learn a thing or two from you... J.
The last comment I posted was intended specifically re: the song "Engleorum". I love all Vernian Process's music. It is totally original, yet somehow comfortably familiar. But then again,I'd feel more at home in Oscar Wilde's guestroom. You know, the room in the back, that overlooks Victoria Station.....
Dreams of angels walking in the upper atmosphere.....
I've played some stuff of yours on my overnight radio show. You can find my playlists and shows at www.thefalsegods.com or thefalsegods.livejournal.com if you want to check it out. It airs at CFMU in Hamilton (Canada), and I'm trying to syndicate it through radio4all.net. If you're on myspace, look the show up, I'd like to link to you.
I like your music a lot, I've been looking for something like it for quite some time.
I am a steampunk/victorian fan as well, I think you should try drenching a few songs in factory sounds and clockwork ticking. And really DRENCHING, maybe a whole song with nothing but factory/clockwork sounds and some low-volume ambience in the background. Of course, the choice is yours, but the idea is cool, no?
