Verbal Threat has toured with Guru from Gangstarr, Krs1, Blackalicious, and Kool Keith. They have performed live with N.E.R.D., (Pharrell from The Neptunes) Method Man, Slum Village, Dwele, The Pharcyde, Jeru The Damaja, Guerilla Black, Bobo from Cypress Hill and Stephen Perkins from Janes Addiction. Gangstarr legend Dj Premier produced their new single Reality Check with additional collaborations with Kool G Rap and Wu-Tang Clan producers Mathematics, 4th Disciple and Bronze Nazareth. The Los Angeles Times praised them as being the first independent hip-hop group to sell out the House Of Blues. Verbal Threat is sponsored by LRG, Wild Style Technicians, One Serious Threat, Franco Shade, Fat Head and Temple Effectives clothing lines. They appeared in the Showtime/Interscope movie The Next, as well as being featured in a seven page article in New York Citys Hip-Hop publication Elemental Magazine. Chick Media shot a music video for Verbal Threats Cocktales that has been incorporated in a release by Playboy.
Now in 2006, Verbal Threat is pushing their new single Reality Check as well as shooting a video later this year with Dj Premier. Before its official release, (March 2006) Reality Check has been getting steady rotation on Sirius Satellite stations Channel 40 Hip-Hop Nation and Shade 45. In a three week span it was been streamed on HipHopGame.com over 17,000 times. XXL Magazine just contacted Verbal Threat stating they will be featured in Aprils issue in the Critics Choice / Critical Beatdown section. Having group members from both New York and Los Angeles, Verbal Threat identifies with their audience across the map.
