I'm a one man band trying to progress music any way that I can.Band/artist history
Started an electronic band by the name of 'Bits' with Jim Engelmann one faithful night at a bar. We did one album together, never really sold it, and went our separate ways because college had us bogged down (we were both going to Kent State at the time).
Learned to play congas and formed a new band with my friends that I lived with that went by the name of 'Speedy Delivery'. The band was a live jam band with a Blues Rock vibe. We never recorded any CDs, but we played out quite a lot and got a small following. A person became too controlling in the band and I decided it wasn't worth losing friends over a band so I left.
The rythym guitarist of 'Speedy Delivery' (Jona Burton) invited me into a new project he had going which became named 'Goodbye Garden'. Another jam band but this time more psychedelic. I played congas and I also started to dabble with using turntables, which was quite interesting to hear over the style of music we were playing. I ended up leaving because I didn't want to lose any of them as friends and I really began yearning to make electronic music again.
Began making electronic music again, all the while trying to get as many people I could into the music with me so that they could experience it. Ended up forming a project band with two of my friends named 'Project Mayhem' which has turned into an interesting conglomeration of musical styles. I still work with them today.Have you performed in front of an audience?I used to play live with jam bands (I played congas).
