Velahavle
The band Velahavle was formed in 1998 in Sarajevo. Armin Hujic (guitars), Džanan Hujic (drums), Rizvan Mehmedbašic (keyboards) and Samir Hodovic (frontman, bass, and vocals) make the backbone of the band. Music that Velahavle plays can be characterized as a crossover of Trip-hop and Breaks sound. First single Cosanostra was recorded in 1999. Already then it was apparent that audience was interested in the new sound Velahavle represented. Band stoped their concert activities in 2001 in order to record and produce their first album. A four year long process was completed in march 2005. Reconnect was recorded at Pavarotti Music Centar Mostar (BiH), Signius Sarajevo (BiH), and Arsla Sarajevo (BiH). The album was produced at Cryptic Audio Glasgow (Scotland) and Studio 5 Paris (France) Many collaborators were included in realization of the first album but one should especially be mentioned, it is well known UKs drum n bass producer Kemal Okan (Konflict, Kemal & Rob Data), who finalized complete production of the album at Cryptic Audio studio. Also a great contribution to sound of the album was given by Bosnian music producer Sloven Anzulovic (MPJ Slo) and Franch producer Chris Albero. Album Reconnect contains 8 songs (44min). CD was published by Promotim, Sarajevo. T The song Prituri se planinata is first single of the album. Special guest of this song is Ralitsa Kashova from Bulgaria. A video clip made for this single was filmed by No Pork Production in New Zeland. Reconnect was released for sale in November of 2005.Have you performed in front of an audience?We are live band,and we count 8 people on stage.
