The VCSB is an 8-piece band consisting of MC Kyhil, a tight rhythm section, and blazing horns. The VCSB Sound has been described as reminiscent of both the Roots and Funkadelic.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play at local clubs as much as we can. Primarily in the Nashville Area, we are exploring some regional opportunities.
Your musical influences
A review in the Rage about our RiverStages show said “Their frontman/MC, Kyhil, comes on like a cross between Doug E. Fresh and Shock G from the Digital Underground backed by a mix between the Beastie Boys and Earth, Wind & Fire.” That's kinda close.
