Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes and no. Since I mainly produce music for artists, it would be them performing. I have been on stage performing before in San Francisco where I am from and I would not hesitate to perform with an artist representing the music I created.
Once I ended up on a list of artists that was supposed to do this show and I found out through the flier. I never enlisted for the show but I went anyway. The crowd was kind of rowdy and they had just booed a group off the stage. It was my turn and I guess a few people in the crowd had thrown some chairs so when I walked on stage the person who was hosting the show stepped up to the mic and said that if folks continued to throw chairs he would put an end to the show and kick everyone out with no refunds. Now the crowd is angry, shouting and throwing up turf signs. I started thinking this dude is going to get me killed up here on the stage with him, so I reached around from behind him and snatched the microphone saying hold up let me do this first. My music started and I proceeded to rock the show. I am not going to lie, I was scared. This was my first time on a stage and in front of an angry mob. Plus, the stage was only 2 steps up from the main floor so bum rushing the show would have been very easy. I stood at the edge of the stage in the crowd and did my thing. The crowd got hype and cheered at a breakdown I made in the track and at the end I got endless props.
