Vanquish
"VANQUISH" is a five piece Rock Band from Jackson, Michigan, USA. This band really loves to ROCK!! A recent review said it this way: "Vanquish is pure, high-octane, crank-it-up-and-hold-on ROCK! A throwback from the heyday of the arena rock monsters, only with a modern, edgy hook that reaches out and shakes your brain. Crunching guitars, Throttling beats, Derick's throat ripping vocals. From the blistering razzle-dazzle of Tony's crackling guitar riffs that open "Brave" to a virtual musical collision of Colley's guitar and Backiel's pulse-pounding drum beats on "Angel," the band continuously pushes the intensity button. "The Fall" opens with an almost cryptic musical passage soon obliterated by a wicked guitar bridge that mirrors the anger of a man "scorned by the black hand of this time." Derick's intense borderline angry vocals a perfect mate for this music that crackles with hard-driven energy...."
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
VANQUISH has been together for about four years. We have independently recorded two full length original cd's, and have many new hot songs ready for release.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
VANQUISH has played live throughout the Mid-West. We love to play live and get the crowd screamin' and jumpin'. We especially like playing for large arena crowds and venues like the super clubs in downtown Detroit!! We play all the clubs big and small !!
