Valles Doloris
Courtesy of a synth, this ambient project uses violin, strings, piano, organ, and flute tones. The music is sorrowful, doomy yet soothing. Valles Doloris is inspired by such metal acts as While Heaven Wept, Elend, Dark Sanctuary, My Dying Bride, and Pantheist.
A free 14 track CD is available for anyone interested as well as a new 5 track album. Let me know and i will send one out to you free of charge.
NEWS: I have been having technical problems with my studio software and soundcard. I recorded 7 new songs which the computer proceeded to ruin. Once I get the situation under control, the new full length album will be rewritten. Until then, i have put up another new song from the new 5 song mini-album
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started playing synth three years ago (in the self-taught fashion). I love atmospheric doom metal so everything i created on the synth was very melencholy....thus i decided to start a "project" with this common theme: sorrow
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do not play live although if one desires it, I'm sure i could manage.
Your musical influences
Any atmospheric metal act or doom act has most likely influenced me through the years. Some are: Anathema, Mourning Beloveth, Elend, Dark Sanctuary, Empyrium, Silentium, etc. Personally, I am a fan of all underground metal genres
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha 76 key
Anything else?
If anyone is looking for a synth player or a vocalist (clean or unclean vocals) for a doom band let me know. Thanks!
