Vallenbrosa are a Metal/Rock/Southern Rock group from Petersfield, UK. We have been together since 2002, and enjoy playing live shows for our army of dedicated fans.Band/artist history
Formed in late 2002 in the South of England VALLENBROSA began writing material and gigging almost immediately and quickly picked up a dedicated army of fans. Inspired by a wide range of rock and metal influences including Tool,Metallica,Pantera,Black Label Society,Down,Alice In Chains and so on, their sound is essential listening for any self respecting rock fan Fronted by the distinctive vocal style of Nik Taylor-Stoakes with the blistering solos of Simon McCarthy backed up by the powerful riffage of Steve Stidolph and tight pounding rhythm section of Russ Smith(Bass) and Dave Baker(Drums) in the live setting Vallenbrosa test any sound system!!
Their debut album "Silenced" was self released in 2004 and relentless gigging followed which has seen them play with the likes of Sepultura,Breed 77,Exit 10,Send More Paramedics,The More I See,The Inbreds,Seasons End and Malefice.Additionally their video for "Still Breathing" became a favourite on music video channel SCUZZ. Vallenbrosa then took time out to write and record their self released album "HESSIAN MERCENARIES" which is available now at www.vallenbrosa.com, CD Baby,iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and Unsunghero.com .The progression is evident in the strength of their new tracks which are already receiving heavy rotation on the likes of Total Rock Radio in addition to being one of their featured albums. The official website itself has also been professionally designed and relaunched courtesy of Akira Studio.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live, and we love it. Currently we are gigging in the UK but are looking to broaden our horizons. Special moment would be, getting support spot for the second time for Sepultura's UK tour.
