HELLO!!,GOOD PEOPLES OF THE WORLD! NICE TO MEET YOU.JUST A LITTLE INFO ON ME .....my NAME IS VAL, I have enjoyed playin musicmostly country since I was eighteen18. I have been in many bands and have enjoyed all the formats of music I have played.I play an acuostic guitarTakamine[six string and have been plunking at the keyboard for some time also. I do my little tunes with two recorders running! All voices that you hear are mine,by,over lapping the recordings. What you hear will be the works of a woman with no studio equipment!..So what you hear is what you get!! I do hope you'll enjoy! Happy Trails my friends! Oh..P.S. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
"It all started wayy back as a child,..when for Christmas one year I got a "lil" black electric organ......Or it might've been when my legs were to short to pull the slide down on my trombone,so I could get the note required!..Or maybe it was lisnin" to all my aunts and uncles play their acoustic sound in gram Bishop's kitchen on the weekends! From there it might've been..the 'lil' tiny blue transitor radio gramp got me one year for my birthday..Guess what I'm sayin' is..I think right from the start I was destined to sing and play instruments!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Use to! Now just at family gatherings..and of course party's!P.S.!!I hold my hubby Mike hostage!
Your musical influences
Harmony!!...Harmony!!...Harmony!! For me there's nothing better than hearin' the Oaks,Statler's and ..the Everly Bros.!I try to add songs on my site that have harmony, to me the songs always better that way!
What equipment do you use?
I use my six string Takamine, a Casio keyboard ,and ,I also use my pc for my recording studio! Now and then I use a Karoke hook-up!
