UVVU was formed in 1999 by producer/engineer, bass player Malcom Black and jazz pianist Americo Carrasco after jamming at an art opening. After the release of their CD 'Ultraviolet Voltage Unit' Americo left the project to pursue new projects in the outer galaxies of the urban zones.. Malcom contines to produce featuring various artists.
