My tracks vary in style from minimal techno, electro, hip hop, house, ambient to banging hard and some of the tracks are hard to categorize. I write and sequence all my music from scratch, using Atari Computers and a very early version of Cubase. All the tracks are recorded live onto a zoom h4 recorder, usually in one take. Looking for an editor to smooth out the rough edges, although I'm very pleased with the live production value. It gives the tracks a lively edge.

Story behind the song
Ù In a universe I inhabited a few years ago, some way away from here, Rachmaninov composed a total of 5 piano concertos, the most legendary of these in this world, being the number 3 in D minor, which was notoriously difficult to play and generally only tackled by virtuoso musicians, and more importantly, the stunning concerto number 5, in C minor, which was even harder to play than the third. Such was the complexity and depth of this work, that Rachmaninov himself, despite his very large hands, reach and digital dexterity, was reluctant to play it in public, for fear of being unable to meet his own, often unrealistic high standards for performance. This may perhaps not be of much interest to most, but as I find myself here now, I have become much dismayed to find that, in this world, there is no Rach 5, only the first 4 concertos are to be found, with no record of a 5th ever having been composed, let alone performed.... So it is in this knowledge, and with a deeply ingrained longing for completeness and for my home world and original self, that I have taken the liberty of calling this 5 part symphony the Rach 5 - that way, I feel like I've got the complete set, and the gap has been somewhat filled. The 5th movement of the work will follow soon, with more on the story later. Overall, this work here is based mainly in the key of C Minor, but moves elsewherelse in 5 or 7 down up semitone transpositions throughout the composition. (Details of the movements to follow) Although Rachmaninov was of Russian origin, he spent much of the latter half of his life living in America (1918 onwards) Coming soon! Variations on a theme of Steve Albini! junoXL5
