second song on the concept album, etherain has just witnessed what he thought was his brother dying (thane) but thane survived. not able to contain his guilt of cowardice he runs from his home only to find his life of solitude unbearable, upon return to his home he finds it in ruins after thane sold him self to the demon hordes upon etherains betrayal
