I almost remember the days well
I couldn’t pass on by any bar
Lounge or cheap hotel
Drank a few under the table
Not so long ago
But I’m proud to say, back in my day
I could hold my own
49 day and sober
Doing the best I can

Another one would follow soon
I couldn’t wait to arrive states side
It’s been 18 month since last June
I missed my Wife and my family
I miss my lil Texas home
Drank away my troubles along the way
It’s been on tough road
