Story behind the song
About freedom from an abusive relationship. If you are in such a relationship, this song won't tell you how to get out, but it describes the result of doing so. Might be the motivation you need. This was written w/o religious references, but apply it that way if you want. Our relationship with the devil was as abusive as it gets.
