Arise was formed when two former frontmen from respective Heavy Metal bands met in 1994 and decided to try something different. Christian lyrical themes combined with acoustic and pop rock sensibilities make up the sound. The love and grace of God makes up the spirit of the project.

Story behind the song
Rob's first attempt at spiritual lyrics. It can be interpreted as being sung to a girl or to God. You decide. The working title was "Wreckage of Sin" but it just didn't fit the mood of the song.
