Lyrics
One day, along a dusty road, came a band of Roman soldiers. In thier midst was a man that bore a cross. A crown of thorns was on his head. Blood stained the path he trod. He was led towards the hill called Calvary. The soldiers nailed him to a tree between two common thieves. They scorned him and pierced his precious side. As the blood came streaming down, he prayed, "Father forgive. It is finished". He died that I might live... And it was finished for Jesus, our redeemer. For the one who came to save a lost humanity, it was finished. A living sacrifice was made. He did give, and it was finished and He died that I might live.
