Story behind the song

Very simple song written as a mythical childrens story.The language is intentionally olde worldy lol

Lyrics

Upon a land where love was rule there lived a tree that grew a jewel. A treasure for the peoples eyes- It surely was their finest prize. And when they danced it shone so bright- A beacon of ethereal light. But when they fought it clouded grey until the light of hope could shine their blues away.................. 

Through time there came many a fool upon this tree to steal the jewel. With eyes that spoke only of greed- they came to satisfy their need. But all the poison in their hearts could never tear this fruit apart.For the jewel reflects just what it finds-and so their lust-filled stares did make their eyes grow blind..................... 

Eventually the land found fame and so the men of science came.To witness and to find a cause for what defied logical laws.But through their eyes they could not see the fruit of love and mystery and soon the people were decieved.. And became filled with doubt to what they once belived.......................... 

And so the jewel upon this tree the people cast to history..They now lived in material days and thought their past a childish phase. But when a child who wished to know about this myth of long ago looked at the tree with loving eyes-The jewel appeared once more and fell out of the skies..................... 

To her the jewel spoke its refrain..'Please let my magic be again'.And so the fruit of light and grace was planted in a secret place.. The fertile land nourished the seed away from hate and lies and greed.. And over time became a tree set with a 1000 jewels all bursting to be free.........................

The child grew up strong and wise and gazed with wonder at the prize..She harvested the fruit so near-and then her mission became clear.. To travel far with outstretched hand-and plant a jewel in every land..So that tommorows children know-For every dream that's sewn a Jewel will surely grow.......
