Lyrics
Snow Falling On The Sahara (copyright 2010 David L. Jones) You could walk a thousand miles but you'll never see a drop of water You could live a hundred years but that desert sand will never change Not a living soul around, place those feelings underground, so they'll never see the light of day (again). Now, the sun is beating down as it rises up against the sky. All those dreams are dead and gone and I never knew the reason why. So imagine my surprise as I look into her eyes Suddenly there's . . . . Snow falling on the Sahara There was Snow falling on the Sahara Yes, there was . . . . There's so many things I want to tell her There's so many times I've just wanted to be heard I've been wandering so long just the thought of this oasis seems so absurd. Now, this shadow of a man is gaunt and broken And the desert wind could drift it all away I was blinded by my pride and I never realized That there was . . . . Snow falling on the Sahara There was Snow falling on the Sahara There was Snow falling on the Sahara Yes, there was . . . . On a grey September's eve she asked me for forgiveness, I remember thinking "Well, isn't that the way . . . "It's a cold day in Hell if she'd ever break that spell." I'd be damned if I didn't see the next best thing For there was . . . . Snow falling on the Sahara there was Snow falling on the Sahara there was Snow falling on the Sahara Yes, there was. She was Snow falling on the Sahara she was Snow falling on the Sahara she was Snow falling on the Sahara Yes, she was. Oh, she was. Yes, she was.
