Story behind the song
Went to my daughter's district choir thing last Saturday. Two days of guest directors and then a concert of middle school (Kelly's in that), High School SSA, and SATB. Man they did a few religious and Jesus numbers. Down in Boca Raton, FLA, my wife had a tough time doing Christian/Gospel stuff. Heck, today they did John The Revelator!! Hah!
So I thought of these lyrics out in the parking lot waiting for everyone to appear. I didn't write them down, so who knows if these lyrics match what I conceived. I may try and do a multi-vocal version, but it might be tough for me to sound good on this one.
Probably nothing too original (hard to do religious songs that are "new"), but here goes any way!
