Story behind the song
needs mixing, instrumentation isn't set, neither is the order. however i wanted to get something uploaded.
made entirely with Reason. couple of drum and hip hop loops, couple of synthesizers, an arpeggiator, two tracks of string quartet samples, a chorus unit, reverb, extensive editing and slicing by me. vocal samples and sicker drumbeats to come in the final version.
trying to go beyond the Drum and Bass music I've been making lately. i think there are some really cool, soulful, groovy, funky moments in here... now to just assemble it!
stumbled upon a cool Ronald Jenkees-esque sound with the keyboard solo. its done on a synth that can only play one note at a time, and i laid two solos over each other... so what you're hearing is the beginnings of the notes bouncing back and forth between the two solos
