Story behind the song
Just came to me!
Lyrics
The last time that I saw her, she was standing out in the rain. Blonde hair in her blue eyes. She was calling out my name. Then she turned in panic, fearing for her soul. But before she could try and run away the air turned black as coal! Right before our unbelieving eyes the ground opened up and a deamon did rise he took our little daughter away and we've lived in Hell since that day Across the world we journeyed to lands both far and wide. Searching for our loved one, hoping she ain't died. 10 long years behind us since that fateful night. My wife, she's gone and passed on her heart to broke to fight. Right before our unbelieving eyes the ground opened up and a deamon did rise he took our little daughter away and my soul's been dead since that day As I think back to that evening as the rain came pouring down, I curse that God in his great golden throne, oh, in hatred I do drown. Please tell her that I miss her and her eyes so young and blue. And I swear, I'm gonna find her, if it's the last thing that I do! Right before our unbelieving eyes the ground opened up and a deamon did rise he took our little daughter away and we've lived in Hell since that day And through this world with tear stained eyes blind to the clues, I sever my ties. Nothing to say, 'cept that which I know... to the depths of Hell I fear I must go
