Have you ever lived with a roommate from hell? Well I have and she was something else.She was so tight with money that our landlord donated a big sack of potatoes and she had potato soup for breakfast,potato salad for lunch and baked potato for dinner .It got to the point that we thought she would turn into a potato.Whenever we went out for a meal with friends she would say she had already eaten and order a glass of water.She would wear everyone elses underwear for fear of spending a few pence on her own.Her goal in life was to marry a millionaire so that everything was paid for.She was rude,arrogant and thought everyone else was lower class.What she failed to recognize was that money cannot buy manners, cannot buy class,cannot buy love or friends and you leave it all behind .Even though Daddy had a few schillings in the bank,you cannot equate one's personal worth with that of money. God created us all equal regardless of class, race, colour or creed.
