We are the trans-Atlantic alliance of Bob Kingdon, from England and Eric Daum from New England. We are a virtual band inspired by the music of Bill Nelson, Power Pop and girls in short skirts and tight shirts. Bob handles the guitars, Eric, the keyboards, loops and programming as well as dabbling with his ancient Rickenbacker on a few songs. Both Bob and Eric sing and share songwriting. In addition, we sometimes set the poems of Carole Young, a Scottish poet to music.

Lyrics
Gilded Age You prayed that I would change I hoped you never would I imagined you'd be bad And you dreamed that I'd be good You said that life's unfair These are the seeds you sow And the good times that we shared They seem so long ago I'm on my knees again A mix of hope and rage I'm kneeling at the rail again In this the Gilded Age We thought the future would be wonderful Young, naievish fools And now we suffer in silence The future made fools of us all And I'm on my knees again A mix of hope and rage And I'm kneeling at the rail again In this the Gilded Age I'm on my knees again A mix of hope and rage Still kneeling at the rail Of this Gilded Age I know, I know that things can change I see, I feel, I'm back on that stage I'm wondering what my memories will bring The encore's here and its time to sing I'm on my knees again A mix of hope and rage Still kneeling at the rail Of this Gilded Age I'm on my knees again A mix of hope and rage Still clinging to the rail Of this gilded cage

Nice one BOb and Eric!! Think the vox could come up a notch in the mix and the choruses could be tighter for vocal timing but they are small nits and overall I loved it!
