Artist picture
Original Rock/Reggae music from NYC, with touches of R&B and even a classical piano solo on a couple of Reggae songs.
AñaVañA (pronounced onya-vonya) is an all original Rock/Reggae band from NYC. In an age where the music industry is pushing the same music over and over AnaVanA breaks the mold and goes for something unique: Rock based songs with touches of Reggae and R&B. The main songwriters for the group are Ian C. Bouras and Annastasia Victory. They have been voted as top songwriters in multiple competitions, including The Worldwide Windrift Competition and The Worldwide Billboard Songwriting Competition. Put together great musicianship, great songs, and an interesting mix if styles, and you've got AnaVanA. Their debut album is due out early 2004 on Zip Records. If you are a fan of anything musical (playing, songwriting, etc...) this group has it all so be sure to check them out.

Lyrics
Colors Fading Verse 1: It’s just me here all alone Praying to be heard or seen by someone Possibilities surround my mind But they seem so hard for me to find Chorus: And I know that you will never ever be true again ‘Cause I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading I don’t know why you’ve come knocking on my door again When I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading Verse 2: Maybe I am just like you Inconsistencies in everything I do Spinning all my lies into one truth Passing alibis from me to you Chorus: And I know that you will never ever be true again ‘Cause I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading I don’t know why you’ve come knocking on my door again When I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading Bridge: Now I’ve seen your other side Making me feel bad seems to make you smile Taking pleasure in someone else’s misery How could I have been so blind not to see? Verse 3: Now I see through all your lies You can’t hide them all behind your eyes I was fooled for just one day Then you opened up and gave yourself away Chorus: And I know that you will never ever be true again ‘Cause I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading I don’t know why you’ve come knocking on my door again When I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading Chorus: And I know that you will never ever be true again ‘Cause I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading I don’t know why you’ve come knocking on my door again When I’ve seen your true colors fading, colors fading
