All of the songs we play are my favorite songs for all time and Hank's Cadillac is the perfect band for me. Tom Griffin on bass and vocals, and Dan Berens on dr
I'm a songwriter who also plays in a great country band. I'm proud of the fact that the songs we play are not the dorky top 40 songs on FM stations. I sing, play guitar, and harmonica, Tom Griffin on vocals and bass, and Dan Berens on drums and laugh tracks. We're lucky to know some real good photographers; Thanks to Dan Hogle and Randy (Damn, what's his last name).

Story behind the song
I wrote this song thinking about someone close to me who is old and alone and I wondered what if that were me. Johnny D played drums, Leif Frederick played bass, Marc Weller played lead guitar, and I played rythym guitar and sang. The song was recorded in my home studio on a half inch analog tape deck.
Lyrics
Dreams of a Fool He looks outside of his lonely room Watching as the world goes slowly passing by His lifelong dream has furnished a living tomb He shrugs and says I might as well get high Oh to be a prisoner of the dreams of a fool Where excuses aren't the exception They're the rule Where failed plans and bullshit Stand like precious jewels To be a prisoner of the dreams of a fool Long ago his youthful hair had turned to gray But he still carries on like he was twenty two Thinking he's the focus of all the songs he plays There's always lots to say, nothing to lose
