Story behind the song
Written November 10 1987, Snow was inspired by an amazing documentary about the Andes. I keep gravitating toward that region of the world and suspect my fondness for wildlife and rainforests has something to do with it. I actually don’t use a printer for that reason. This track begins quite soft with light snowflakes tickling from above. It gradually gains strength until the very end where it unleashes its power. The use of trumpets deliver a forceful closing theme.
