Four-part men's a capella "have yourself a merry little Christmas"
Surprisingly high-quality Christian rock
Trying to establish myself in the music world, and give myself some solid ground upon which i can start a real band when i get to college. i just want my work to glorify the Lord Jesus.

Story behind the song
wanted to sing the song, but didn't have the sheet music... so i started humming it in my head, and hearing my own chord progression. i wrote it down, and here it is. if i could change anything, it would be the baritone note on the word "that" in "hang that shining star" from a Bb to a G, because two other parts are already on the Bb, and the tenor line is on an E natural, so it's just a wacko sound that could be much rounder. also, performance-wise, there are so many breaks because i stopped to breathe while laying down the lead line that the huge, powerful break at the climax has no power at all. if i could re-record it, i would smooth the phrases together.
Lyrics
Have yourself a merry little Christmas; let your heart feel light. From now on our troubles will be out of sight! Have yourself a merry little Christmas; make your yule-tide gay. From now on our troubles will be miles away! Here we are as in olden days... happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more. Through the years we all will be together, if the Lord allows. Hang that shining star upon the highest bough... And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
