We started out in Medieval England and slowly evolved into a lean mean music making machine
Merlin and the Gnometones were a garageband from the sixties. They toured the US playing for small audiences, living day to day. They recorded over 70 songs using what ever equipment they could borrow. Recently, a tape was discovered with 30 of their original recordings. (Ironically in a garage sale) They have been digitally remastered and posted here for your enjoyment. Seriously, I am a non-performing songwriter just trying to get his music out to people who may enjoy it. Most of it falls into the classic rock genre, but there is a little bit of everything here. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to listen.

Lyrics
We look up at the stars together in a dream Lying on a bed of grass watching astral streams The same scene every night since you left me The star is a meteor that turns us to debris The dream continues on, we rise up from the dust There has to be a reason that I lost your trust But then for one brief moment after a pause You go and rip my heart out with your long raptor claws Racing through time Is it real or pretend Racing through time So much to comprehend Racing through time I Have to reach the end This is a fantasy, a vision while I sleep We're drowning in an ocean, we're both sinking deep Then I notice I am alone, no sign of you Each night it ends the same way, like bad dreams always do Sunlight through my window wakes me with a new ray The bed is still half empty, same as yesterday I reach up and touch my eyes, both are still closed This dream is never ending, my eternal repose Racing through time Is it real or pretend Racing through time So much to comprehend Racing through time I Have to reach the end
