Story behind the song
I was inspired to cover this song because of three very strong influences. First of all, it's that classic, twangy yet bluesy guitar sound. Secondly , I love beautiful women; especially beautiful women who really play guitar well. Thirdly, learning these changes, especially the drone chords presented a challenge to me to play smoothly and I love a challenge. I love the music of Deborah Coleman and she regularly plays here in North Carolina at the Bull Durham Blues Festival each year. Her blend of blues places her in unique company in the blues world.
