Story behind the song
All the songs on this CD were inspired, written and recorded during my stay in Jerusalem in 2001. It was during the time of the second intifada. It was a crazy place, and for an Australian with no knowledge of this historical city, it was a wonderful learning experience.
Lyrics
Galilee Heat Wave Capo 3rd Fret
E
I?ve been up north if the Holy Land.
I travelled around and seen what I can.
But I gotta tell you about what I felt,
And what I remember of this sacred belt.

(Chorus x 2) A7 I struck a Galilee heat wave, E A boiling hot heat wave. B7 I lost five gallons of sweat, A7 And ain?t no one I met, E Liked the Galilee heat wave. E
I walked in the steps of the Man JC.
Saw where he multiplied bread by the sea.
Saw where two fishes fed all the crowd.
But I gotta tell you this, and say it out loud.

(Chorus x 2) A7 I struck a Galilee heat wave, E A boiling hot heat wave. B7 I lost five gallons of sweat, A7 And ain?t no one I met, E Liked the Galilee heat wave.
