Story behind the song
Scott was traveling across the Burnside Bridge in Portland, OR during a torrential rainstorm, complete with lightning firing off close by. A shirtless man was walking along the bridge; dancing, spinning and twirling along in what appeared to be a state of great joy. The lesson learned from this man is that when life's circumstances are at their worst, it is best to be joyful and trust in God. Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals, Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitars: Tommy G. Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitars: Scott Cauvel Bass: Karl Boyer Drums: Korg D16XD programmed by Tommy G. Engineered and Produced by Tommy G. 2000 Wellington Publishing Company All Rights Reserved
Lyrics
Homeless man on the street Hes dancin and spinnin, hes light on his feet Hes skippin and jumpin as he walks along He lifts his voice in a happy song He harbors not a single care; not one in the world As he laughs and jumps, he spins and twirls Dancin across that old Burnside Bridge Spinnin and laughin all the way - he did The rains came down, he did not care The lightning flashed, but he wasnt scared The thunder crashed, but he still did not care Hes in another realm, but hes completely aware TOMMY G GUITAR SOLO SCOTT CAUVEL GUITAR SOLO Lord, I wanna be just like that man Dancin and spinnin all that I can An liftin my voice in a happy song Singin and praisin you as I walk along I wouldnt have a single care; not one in the world As Id laugh and jump and spin and twirl Dancin across this lifes great big divide Knowin I got my Jesus by my side (Just like the man on the bridge) He harbors not a single care; not one in the world As he laughs and jumps, he spins and twirls Dancin across that old Burnside Bridge Spinnin and laughin all the way

Soulfully sung, love the story to the song, your voice makes me think of Axel Rose on this tune. Really nice guitars, all of them, love the solos, mix of guitars is just perfect, doesn't overpower in song, so you can hear the story, great production....5 stars! ~strummergurl~
