Track 2 of the 'Made of Hate' demo EP. As a titular track, it's the most important one on the record and the most single-like (though still far away from being 'poppy'). A lot is happening here, it's hard to name the structure of the song... Kind of

Two Games Joined is a music project inspired by nerdy things. Mostly video games. No genre boundaries included.
MEMBERS: Gnegon - direction, vocals, bass guitar, writing, visual art Flyghtning - programming, production, keys, vocoder Kelen - electric guitar Two Games Joined is a band/project that builds on the foundations of nerdcore, and strives to expand as vastly on them as possible. The main idea is to take inspiration, cues, themes and songs from all things nerdy - video games, comics, cartoons, sci-fi and fantasy altogether, etc. - and try to take it in a direction that both sounds cool and carries a cohesive meaning. Two Games Joined rarely operates on songs alone; rather, ideas are constructed into releases (so far only EPs and singles) as a meaningful whole. As a result, Two Games Joined doesn't really have a genre - it's "post-nerdcore" which is a term we made up and pretty much sums up everything written out in this paragraph. Most often, it's some sort of mixture of rock/metal and electronics.

Story behind the song
This is the song that started the whole EP and its solipsistic themes. The character here is clearly a solipsist and questions the idea of hating whilst realising everyone and everything is in his head - it is a part of him, so it's like he hates himself, but he doesn't want to. And when others hurt him, it's like he's hurting himself. Paradoxally, he doesn't want this but still retains his beliefs.
Lyrics
These senses free, they show me The world I touch with my bare skin But is it really here? Is it really here? With my eyes I see your lies With my lips I take your cries But are they really here? Are they really here? I made it all but lost my fate Guess my thoughts are made of hate Hate me, I can't hate myself Save me, I can't save myself I'm bleeding I'm bleeding but there's no blood I swapped my places with God I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I lose control You say your soul means none at all I want to tell you that's false call But are you really here? Say, are you really here? I move in space to find my place I throw it all and scratch my face But am I really here? God, am I really here? I made it all but lost my fate Guess my thoughts are made of hate I made it sized but live in cage Guess my mind is made of rage Oooooooh Hate for control I'm bleeding I'm bleeding but there's no blood I swapped my places with God I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I lose control I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I'm hurt I laugh when I lose control And I hate when they tell me what to do See, I'm made of hate Hate me, I can't hate myself Save me, I can't save myself Hate me, I can't hate myself Save me, I can't save myself I'm bleeding but there's no blood I'm bleeding but there's no blood Don't tell me it's really blood Don't tell me I am a dud How would you know? "I'm not even angry..." Hah, close call! Hate for control I'm running with no pace, pace, pace I can't get off this place, place, place I try to let you know, know, know But this hate I can't let go, go, go, go GO! Hate me, I can't hate myself Save me, I can't save myself Hate me, I can't hate myself Save me, I can't save myself Hate me, I can't hate myself Help me, I can't help myself Hurt me, I can't hurt myself Kill me, I can't kill myself You in me like me in you Will you hate me if I hate you? I'd give it all to find a way But either way, see, I'm made of hate "Whereas the inactive approach tries to... get out of this... situation, this... philosophical... trap..."
