This has been one of those songs that takes one form, outlives itself and moves on to fit in a bigger skin. I've tried two different incarnations before this one, which finally told me, "Yeah, this feels right." So, I finished it.
Although it contains some of my most heartfelt melody to date, it's still a result of haphazard songwriting, thus not exactly a new favorite. Still, it feels 'right', so I'm not messing with it anymore, although getting this far involved a mess of revisions...
