English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written. There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Lyrics
NIght Vision (Seeing in the Dark) by Dawn Sinclair How could you see me mindless curled up in the dark Why do you think that I’d want you opening my eyes? Privacy's my new religion, Got the CD, read the book I doubt you could comprehend it, There is blindness in your look Go and find those old quotations written by some grey haired bard Surely you could make equations, I don't think you’d find it hard I don't want to see myself reflected in your pools of light All the answers I require are here revealed within the night (You want to push those tired old morals, don't you know they make me sick)

I thought I had commented on this already...but I guess not!! LOL! It's a very cool piece. Minimalistic, as Juri says, but the arrangement sets off your lyrics perfectly. I've only heard a few pieces from Tom before, but I can definitely identify elements of his style in here. Some hauntingly beautiful melodic sections...a very cool piece all in all. Fully starred. ;) hugs, Amy

Absolutely gorgeus piece of modern art!Minimalistic and very modern backing track is a candy to my ears.Beautiful, soft melody with great lyrics!! Love it all the way.I suppose that's what I'd like to hear from contemporary CDs,-moving ahead sonically without rejecting the values of the past. This one is very inspirin' makes me wanna do smth. like this...and that's one feature I was missin' alot for such a long time....y'know.Another Big Plus, certainly. For some reasons it stops abruptly, but, perhaps, it was intended...No prob, though, this doesn't mean a thing overally. More of stuff like this is needed,-one thing for sure!!
