Story behind the song
this song is from the point of view of a father who notices his daughter getting the wrong kind of attention from the boys because she's. . um. . .sprouting in certain places before it's time. He also has seen "my super sweet sixteen" and has it in his head that she's going to want that kind of party (even though she hasnt' asked for one) so, the day before her sixteenth birthday, as a service to us all, before she can get anybody in trouble, he tells her about a special surprise, blindfolds her, takes her somewhere desolate and shoots her with a sawed off shotgun
