We have all been young and dumb. It's nice when you figure out you didn't know everything afterall!
Modern, alternative, pop/country. A little country jazz vocal.
I am a singer/songwriter who has been writing for about 2 years now and have had some wonderful encouragement from an A&R rep from Curb records as well as a few Indie reps. I have been hoping someday to have a song of mine cut and while working on that have been motivated to sing them myself. I love writing and singing and recently have been working on a duo act called, "Beaucoup Baby". I met the love of my life through my songwriting adventure and we have teamed up to start gigging. We are looking into future band members and have just finished two CD's, one is a solo effort and the other a collaboration with Charles Bernier. The wonderful reason for my new name change and my courage to go after my dreams.

Story behind the song
I was actually raised on banks of Dibble Creek and have always wanted to write a song about it. I have had to come back home a time or two but I'm happy to say the story is fiction.
Lyrics
She was raised in Dibble Creek Where life was innocent and sweet Guided by a gentle touch In a home that was filled with love She decided to spread her wings The day she turned seventeen Her mind was filled with wonder Her heart it ached with a hunger Thinking she just had to fly Didn't stop to say goodbye A thousand miles away from home She decided to pick up the phone (chorus) Mama I want you to know I'm O.K. I just had to go You know I've got myself some dreams And there's nothing for me in Dibble Creek Three thousand miles from home A million miles more to go Standing there without a dime Rain falling as she cries Needing shelter from the storm A dirty coat to keep her warm Knowing there's no place like home She had to get to a phone Hoping mama would be there Praying she still would care Hating to admit her fall She broke down and made that call (chorus) Mama I want you to know I am down got no place to go I've made a mistake and I'm in need Can I come home to Dibble Creek (bridge) She could feel the love in her mama's tears Washing away all her fears (chorus) She said Oh girl I want you to know You can always come back home I never wanted you to leave And your'e always welcome in Dibble Creek (repeat)
