Red D. Vocals / Percussion Red began his professional career in the local hard rock band Drunk With Guns. After several years the blues started calling and he followed their siren song. Following stints in a couple of bands led by "legend in their own mind" guitar players, he eventually founded Vonilla Gorilla. With Red at the helm, Vonilla Gorilla had a solid reputation as a blues and classic rock band playing all over eastern PA for over 10 years. This is also where he first met Rich and reunited with Max. This band finds Red sharing the vocals with the other members. Rich Lather Guitar / Vocals / Bass Little is known about the guitar slinger known as Rich Lather. Some of the many rumors are that he hails from Tupelo, MS, that he led Wayne Newton's band in Vegas for a number of years, that he starred on Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire and that he has 43 cats. None of these rumors have yet been confirmed. All we know is that if you stick a guitar in his hand, he'll melt your face. And as for the rumor that he knows at least 8 bars of every song ever written? That one might be true... Max Load Bass / Vocals / Guitar Max has played in a slew of local bands over the past 20 years including Trixxter, Drunk With Guns, Echoplex, Slanted Shed, Scud Farcus & Fanboy. After receiving a call from his old Drunk With Guns band mate Red, he eventually joined Vonilla Gorilla playing bass and singing back-up vocals. This expanded to also playing some guitar and a return to singing lead vocal. Bad Monkey was Max's vision of the future for better than a year before it finally happened. If you don't dig what we're doing, blame Max! Otto Hansenfutz Drums / Vocals What can we say? Otto is a multi-talented multi-tasker. At Westerland (his recording studio) he's the man behind the board, the engineer and a producer as well. He's got albums from a number of local bands on the streets. Also an inventor, he conceptualized and brought his drummer's practice device, the Futz, to market a few years ago. With a list of high profile endorsers, HansenFutz has gone global.
