Very original composition, some really cool vocals and harmonies, I agree the chorus is a bit jarring, but I think with some minor adjustments it could work really well...oh yeah those harmonies are right on, you know what a sucker I am for harmonies! I really admire your compositional and production skills, once again on yet another cool tune.

OK as a die hard fan of Beatles, I was stunned by how similar you sound to them in verses....but chorus is pretty ugh for me...sorry, don't like the jerks and they dont fit with the verses imho....in fact I think they spoiled the song which is a shame cos the words of the chorus were great...its just the weird jerky tempo which sounds like you muffed up the mixing.....I was actually suprised when it was same in following choruses. Oh well, I am sure it must be an experiment and for some it might work but for me it didn't. If you ever decide to redo the choruses, I'd love to hear it again....did anyone compare this to Judy in Disguise by the way?

It's an interesting and original piece with your personal signature all over it.As El-piano kinda suggest very tight rhythm at the verse,-the Chorus,-that's correct,-sounds a'bit jerky, but I'd say it's interestin'-and perhaps,it'll be quite acceptable in case this abrupt rhythmical change will persist in it's own rhythmical logic, but somehow it feels like running against the grain...or it sounds a'bit chaotic inside it's own domain...Who knows, however, maybe it's a new direction !! Listened to the Drum'n'Bass ?? The whole style sounds absolutely jerky, but it used to be the last word in a music domain. So,my appraisals are certainly takin' into account just my own personal impression, that are'nt neccessarlily the "whole truth"

Hi Dave, Spinning your lancaster homecoming. I totally agree with Tammy that is the very first thought I had a jaw dropping lost Lennon track. Great work! This version definitely is much better now the sampling rate is corrected. Great lyrics by the way. Really like the whole song but .... I have to agree with Johnny on the rythm track. I cant get my brain where you travel. LOL! So Cubist Genius it is good sir!

The opening bars greatly reminds me of the Beatles in their hey-day. :D This is a mix of 60's/70's/80's and 90's Nice flow, and emotional writing..production is A-1, David..Nice job! :) I'm glad you did the resample I suggested..this sounds MUCH better. :D It's easy to over-look things like that...until you upload. :) Chipmunks rule, eh? Ok, if you say so! :D

Dave you have a real gem here, but the rhythmic commotion at :58 and 1:41 is eaither a stroke of cubist genius or a spliced together rhythm track that the rest of us mortals get thrown by. Its you - only you hear song construction like that and can pull it off. Your vocals are on timbre and your harmonies add a sweetness and aural comfort. Your lyrics as usual are in a class all by themselves - your command of phrase and metaphor is without peer on SoundClick. Your sound collage featuring electric piano and organ is a creative departure from your trademark textured guitar layers - and well performed. The George Harrison guitar solo at the end and the wah wah guitar licks at the end are perfect punctuation - the whole project gleams with your unique creative talents with the only question being about the unorthodox rhythmic structure on the above mentioned parts. I'm on my 4th spin and there is really no timing error - the beat continues unabated - its probably just that our van
