Story behind the song
Evan Schafer - drum loop, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, vocals A good musician will have an innate ability to know when something sounds right. I couldn't have hit this track more on the nose in terms of the direction I was going for Dive as a whole. When I got the chord progression going on the guitar (in a tuning of DADGAD) I was quickly able to hear in my head an African beat of sorts. Also, this track was one of my first experiments with an electric guitar for a supporting melody line.
